ePOWER High Voltage PTO
The Sunfab ePower High Voltage PTO system, by FTS is an efficient replacement of traditional PTO’s aimed at Electrical Vehicles (EV).
The Sunfab ePower High Voltage PTO system uses the onboard high voltage batteries (up to 850V DC) as the power source to create a rotating PTO. The rotating output shaft has the interface of a traditional PTO both in DIN and ISO variants. The High Voltage PTO system is designed to work seamlessly with Sunfab hydraulic pumps but can also be used to power everything from a hydraulic pump, compressor, woodchipper and so on.
The Sunfab ePower High Voltage PTO comes plug and play ready for easy installation and operation independent of chassis OEM.
SYSTEM INCLUDES:
- Electric motor, options with peak power from 30kW to 120kW
- Sunfab fixed or variable hydraulic pump, options from 12cc to 130cc gives hydraulic outlet flow up to 300L/min and pressure up to 400 bar
- Inverter, with incoming electrical power up to 850V DC
- Smart control system, option with Electronic Load Sensing Hydraulics
- Box material, paint, cover and shape that can be adapted to the customers available space, demand for protection against harsh environments and esthetics
FUNCTIONS:
- Operational temperature minus 30 degrees Celsius up to plus 50 degrees Celsius, depending on solution.

- Display or buttons mounted on dashboard, exterior or on ePTO
- Wireless operation through Mobile app,
- Integrated into a OEM truck chassis switches and Dashboard
As an option the PTO system can be combined with Sunfab ePower Energy Storage batteries. The main reasons to combine with batteries are to allow the PTO to deliver the needed power even if the EV onboard batteries can not deliver the needed power. Combining with Sunfab ePower Energy Storage batteries would also prolong the operating time.
