MITTIA – The exhibition for forest transport
10/14/2015
In Ljusdal - in the middle of one of the most densely forested regions in Sweden, the fair that many in the forest transport industry consider to be the most important meeting place is arranged every two years. This year's exhibition was arranged August 14-15 and had approx. 6,000 visitors. Sunfab attended the exhibition in the late summer heat.
During the exhibition in Ljusdal, visitors mainly come from Sweden, but this year an increase in visitors from both Finland and Norway was noticed. About 130 exhibitors were on site during this year's exhibition, which focuses on forest transport, primarily trucks. Volvo's FH16 club, which started at Mittia, also celebrated its 10th anniversary during the fair.
Sunfab also exhibited and showed, among other things, the new complete series of SAP pumps and the two "heavyweights" SCPD 76/76 and SVH 130.
Close dialogue with end customers
- The positive thing for us about Mittia Skogstransport is that it is niched specifically towards forest transport where we have many end users. We come into contact with many of our end customers and get to hear their views and wishes regarding the development of the applications and demands on the hydraulics. It is the market that controls the development of our products, says Per Sundin, Sales Manager for the Nordics at Sunfab. We received many interesting visits to our stand about this very thing.
