Elmia Lastbil, which had it’s 35th year anniversary, was opened by Swedish Infrastructure Minister, Tomas Eneroth. The fair, which is the largest truck exhibition in the Nordic countries, was held in Jönköping on 22-25 August. This year's exhibition had over 31,000 visitors, Sunfab participated amongst over 410 exhibitors.
Important meeting place for the industry
Since its inception in 1983, Elmia Lastbil has grown and this year the exhibition area covered over 75,000 square meters. On site there were over 410 exhibitors from 17 countries. A crowd favourite was the Nordic Trophy and Swedish Championship in crane and manoeuvring, which this year offered separate ladies classes.
– For us, the fair is very important and a big meeting place. Not only for ourselves but also for our customers and end users. The response feels very positive, says Per Sundin, Sales Manager at Sunfab.
Strong interest in new dual flow pump
– We had more visitors in our booth than usual, says Per Sundin. Most people who visited us was the end users using our products, continues Per. Many of them were interested in our aluminium pump series SAP and the SVH 130 variable pump. There was also great interest in our new dual flow pump SCPD 70/36 DIN. Together with the By-pass valve, the SCPD 70/36 DIN is suitable for combination vehicles that require different flows and where the equipment must be manoeuvrable while driving, Per Sundin concludes.
